Livingston Library Community,  Join us as we celebrate “maker” culture at the Livingston Public Library! On Saturday, March 16th from 11am – 2pm, the Livingston Library will be participating in NJ Makers Day. This all-ages event is now in its tenth year, and connects individuals with libraries, schools, businesses, and independent makerspaces that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEM-based learning.  Livingston’s Makers Day will take place in the Library’s program room, technology room, and youth services area. Visit the program room and tour our vendor showcase, where you can meet local makers and learn all about their various crafts and trades.  We will also have take-home craft kits available for all ages (while supplies last!).  Make sure you also visit the young adult  area to collaborate and work on our Big Bad Wolf STEM Challenge, and the Technology Room for an activity using blocks. You can learn more about Makers Day on the Library’s website. We hope to see you there!  Best,  Amy Babcock, Director
