Message from the Director: Explore the Life & Work of Bruce Springsteen at the Livingston Public Library

“The future is now. Roll up your sleeves and let your passion flow. The country we carry in our hearts is waiting.” – Bruce Springsteen  Livingston Library Community,  Singer, songwriter, and performer Bruce Springsteen, is best known for his rock infused pop hooks and poetic song lyrics that focus on American life and his home of New Jersey.   Nicknamed “The Boss,” Springsteen’s career has spanned six decades, touching the hearts and radio stations of those both young and old.  The Livingston Public Library invites you to join us as we explore the life and work of Springsteen, during the lecture “Bruce Springsteen: Born in New Jersey” on Monday, April 3 at 7pm. During this lecture, 60s Rock Historian Vincent Bruco will take us on a journey with Springsteen, exploring his early days in Freehold, NJ to his rise on the stage. Audio recording will be included in this presentation, so get ready to sing along.  Registration is not required for this event and all who appreciate Springsteen’s music are welcome to attend.
