Xtreme Readers 4th-5th Grade Book Club Meets in May

Attention 4th and 5th graders! Did you ever read a book that you loved so much you couldn’t wait to talk about it with your friends? If so, the Xtreme Readers Book Club is perfect for you. This month, we are reading the New York Times bestselling story about kindness, friendship, and hope, Wishtree, written by Katherine Applegate. Our next virtual meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25 @ 6 PM. Register with your Livingston Library Card through the calendar on our website. You will receive an email with a link to join the Zoom meeting the day before the event.  Once registered, pick up the book at the Patron Services Desk at the Library, or download the audiobook from eBccls. Participants are encouraged to help turn the tree on the Youth Terrace into our own wishtree. I hope to see you there! Happy Reading, Gina Vaccaro, Head of Youth Services

Reflective Journaling

It’s Monday, which means that it is time for a new weekly reflective journaling sheet! “May the 4th Be With You” is celebrated on, you guessed it, May 4th. You can celebrate National Star Wars Day with this week’s reflective journaling sheet. You can access this week’s sheet here: Be sure to stop by the library to check out a Star Wars film or book to enjoy. You can search for items in the library’s physical collection, here, or browse our digital collections! -Jessica, Adult Services & Acquisitions Librarian
